Hello everyone. I teach advertising at a San Francisco university and have offered tutoring through that institution for years. Now, I thought I'd give others the chance to learn one-on-one as well!
I teach (and tutor) advertising and design subjects at all levels. Currently, my summers are filled with teaching high school students about the field, Fall and Spring are for undergraduate and grad students. I've been happy to tutor and mentor as well. I love teaching.
One of the finest things about a portfolio school is that all of your teachers are professionals within the field. That's me! In 1987, I started my career in New York City, as a layout artist, sketching, mocking up paste-ups etc. for local, regional and national accounts. The business has allowed me to work in almost every state of the US!
What does this mean for you? Well, it means you get a real-world professional who can relate to many different cultures, and many different markets.
If you're taking an ad class, or have an interest in advertising, I'm your guy. I'm willing to travel up to 25-miles around the Bay Area and will tutor online as well.
