My name is Sarah Marie. I have 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience working with a wide range of students from pre-K to college. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others.

In 1999 I completed my High School Diploma from Buckingham Charter School. In 2011 I graduated from Sacramento Valley University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I am continuing at Sacramento Valley University of Phoenix to obtain an Master of Arts in Education with concentrations in Elementary, Secondary Math, English, and History, as well as Special Education. I have been a Substitute Paraprofessional (K-12) with the Vacaville Unified School District since March of 2003.

I love teaching. I have experience working with children with learning disabilities. My own son has developmental and learning disabilities. I believe that all students learn in their own way, so I am open-minded to the needs of each individual student. I care about my students succeeding and accomplishing what they want. With the right help, they can reach the stars.

My favorite subject is Math, but I have done it all. I also love doing family history. I have a flexible schedule, but only tutor out of my home or the Town Square Library. I look forward to meeting and helping many students.

I am currently completing my teaching credential thru Sacramento Valley University of Phoenix. I have completed the No Child Left Behind training. Swimming

There are 4 swim styles: freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly.

I was on my High School Swim Team for 2 years. I was also on my community college swim team until I was injured. I have taught swimming for about 4 years. My children are water babies too.

The CALIFORNIA BASIC EDUCATIONAL SKILLS TEST (CBEST) is a standardized test administered throughout the state for those who wish to teach at public schools and gain a credential.
