Since January 2009, I have worked as a tutor, teaching all levels of math (elementary-level through pre-calculus) and high school Biology as well as SAT and ACT test preparation. I require active participation from all students, which allows me to more accurately assess their progress, as well as helps to bring the material alive in the lesson. The two most important characteristics of any teacher are a strong understanding of the subject and enthusiasm for the material. My enthusiasm and depth of knowledge presented in my unique teaching style demonstrates to students that the material can be both fun and meaningful.
