I have been tutoring all levels of math for 5 years now. I really enjoy math as a subject, and try to impart the fundamental concepts of math rather than trying to just teach the algorithms. Math really should be about understanding the logic behind it and less about route processes (we have computers for that!).
A bit about me. I received my Bachelors from Santa Clara University in 2011, with a double major in Math and Finance. While there, I was part of Pi Mu Epsilon(math honor society) and Beta Gamma Sigma (business honor society). Additionally, I graduated Magna Cum Laude. I will be attending Claremont Graduate School in the fall for my PhD in Math. While all of this establishes that I understand math, my real benefit to you the student, is my ability to clearly and patiently explain math concepts in plain English.
