I am a multi-disciplinary scholar and practitioner dedicated to lifelong learning and education. For the past 30-years, I have worked for the City of Union City (Superintendent of Public Works) while concurrently pursuing my degrees in Management, Business, and Education. In December 2010, I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation at the University of San Francisco in the school of education.
For the past four years, I have worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Phoenix where I teach a variety of "classroom" courses in Business, Sociology, and the Humanities. My passion to help students has grown to where I now teach a weekly "writing lab" in addition to regular courses.
As an instructor and tutor, my strength is in my ability to: (1)relate to students, (2)assess their pedagogical/andragogical needs, (3) help them decipher their assignments, and (4) provide meaningful feedback on content, development, style, organization, and mechanics of their work.
