Ballroom Dancing

I was voted best dancer in my high school in 1962 with the ability to do all the dances of the day, the Twist, the Bop, the Stroll, the Pony et al. I took lessons to learn how to do the disco dances after seeing Saturday Night Fever. I have had lessons in Argentine Tango, swing and other ballroom dances.

I played junior varsity basketball for Rutgers University in 1965. I've watched basketball for over 40 years coaching and very low levels with my son. My son became a small college all-American in basketball.

I've owned and operated my own company for over 40 years. I started a 2 person at home business and grew it from there. We recruited mid to senior level management people all across the Country.

I grew a company from $0 to $300,000 per year in 2 years. This was the second company that I started and later sold. We specialized in Earned Value Management and our clientele were most Fortune 500 aerospace clients.

I started a service to place clinical psychologists in skilled nursing homes throughout Southern California

Career Development

I was trained in Executive Search after leaving teaching, and I have over 40 years of Executive Search career development experience. I've placed mid to high level executives in Fortune 100 companies all over the Country.

Elementary (K-6th)

I originally became qualified by completing my elementary teacher credential at California State University Long Beach including doing student teaching in Cerritos at the ABC School district.

I decided not to teach and went into business and owned and operated my own company hiring, managing, training well over 60 people.

Recently retired and applied and received my elementary substitute teaching credential.

Public Speaking

I took Public Speaking in college and received an "A." I ran for student government offices throughout my entire school experience. I worked as an elementary teacher for a short while having to stand before classrooms. I have done many public speaking assignments and presentations in front of many high level executives while owning my own business.

Study Skills

I taught a complete lesson plan on study skills when I was a student teacher. This included memorization tricks like grouping, pneumonic devices, rote memorization etc.

Working as an actor where being a "quick study" is important for all auditions and requires concentration and focus.

I've given multitudes of public speeches which require constant memorization and study to deliver the speech effectively

I did my student teaching in Elementary education.
