In the last 10 years, I was immersed in the corporate world, doing business in logistics with other countries across our vast oceans. There was much to find rewarding in this field, but what I found to be most rewarding was the satisfaction of teaching and
empowering new co-workers to become independent members of the industry. The fact of having trained new employees to go out and perform on their own was the most satisfying feeling and valuable achievement of my professional history.
I realize that my true enjoyment and passion in life is to guide and encourage individual progress toward realizing their full potential as productive members of society. I see no better place to employ this energy than right here in my local community, where young
people of tomorrow's generation are in ever-growing need of mentors to empower them for the future.
That is why I've decided to take my favorite school subjects--math and science--and share with you how fun these subjects really are, whether you already like them or not. My simple goal as tutor is to make you love and appreciate math and science. We witness math and science-related phenomena everyday in our lives--in the food we eat, the games and sports we play, in our backyards, parks, and city streets. If we look carefully, math and science really is, after all, relevant to the lives of each and every one of us. I'm
going to train you to see it at work around us almost every waking moment of our lives. Once you make this connection, the work you do on paper will make so much more sense, and your achievement will progress like you never thought possible.
I look forward to working with you!
