Hello! My name is Lee. Thanks for your interest in my tutoring services. I have always believed that the student comes first. It's my primary goal to help you succeed and become the best you can be as we undertake the journey of learning together. I'm patient, supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable. I also believe learning is meant to be fun! It's my job to help you develop your skills and make new discoveries under the tutelage of a gentle guiding hand.
I specialize in English, Writing, Reading, the Cinematic Arts, and Apple technology. Coming from a family of teachers, I've taught Graphic Arts, the Macintosh, and Creative Writing at the college level for five years and have tutored children privately for many years as well. My film career began at the Walt Disney Studios which allowed me to work professionally as an animator for ten years before becoming a teacher and running my own production company. During my three year tenure at Apple, I conducted hundreds of workshops and training sessions using Apple technology. As a result, I am highly skilled in Final Cut Studio, After Effects, literary endeavors, and Macintosh computer operation. I'm also certified by Apple to assist you with iPhone, iPod, and iPad training or repairs.
I hold a BFA in Film & Video from Cal Arts, and a Master's level Certificate from UCLA in Producing. My writing has won acclaim with organizations like Fade In Magazine, and at Apple I earned the product professional award.
I work well with students of all ages. My availability is anytime from 1pm to 6pm weekdays. If you prefer weekends, I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. I'm looking forward to working with you and answering any questions you may have.
