As a retired History Teacher from the Los Angeles Unified School District for 35 years and currently as a seven-year UCLA History Coach for Middle School History teachers, I am more than qualified to tutor both adult and teenage History students who are looking for instruction in United States History, World History, and Geography. In addition, I have taught AP US History and Sheltered US History.
I can help students understand history concepts, causes and effects, and write paragraphs, essays, and papers. Instead of writing papers for them (which I won't do), I can support them in learning how to write. In addition, I have a stockpile of lessons from the many years of teaching including primary sources materials and problem solving exercises. I am eager to support any student's interest in history or help any student create an interest in history, government, or geography.
