Hi! My name is Ana. I have a Bachelor of Art degree in piano performance and teaching. I have taught piano and music theory for over 25 years. My goal is to develop the student's full music potential by providing quality music instructions and performance opportunities. I develop a course plan and teaching program in line with the MTAC (Music Teachers' Association of California) syllabus. I am responsible, punctual, attentive, energetic, flexible, and able to set and meet deadlines. My students participate in annual music exams, recitals and competitions. They have an opportunity to play at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza and other venues, like Holy Trinity Church or Keyboard Concepts, Agoura Hills. I have students ages 4-18, beginners through advanced levels. During the lesson students will receive 30 or 45 minute instructions in piano performance, theory, music reading and ear training. Lessons for younger students are designed to be in a fun, creative atmosphere through the method of discovering knowledge.
