I started tutoring as young as twelve years old. During late start Wednesdays, I would help out in my sister's kindergarten classroom. In high school, I did tutoring/volunteer work at a couple of different elementary schools. I helped kids with various work they did and even helped some children who had trouble with reading. I got hired as a tutor for a while during college, and that particular project I worked on involved helping kids with a school project. I took a job as a teacher in a community center. I helped with the kids in that preschool, but mainly I taught my own classes. I taught art for preschool, grade school, and teens as well as writing, drawing, and theater. Currently, I help my cousin with her daycare, which has preschool programs and art time.
My strongest subject would be theatre since I have my bachelor's degree in that subject. I took a lot of English classes in my undergrad years, and I am pretty good at history and social studies, too. I have a lot of experience teaching kids in grade school, and I can tutor math up until algebra. I'm a pretty fast learner, so if there's a new subject for me to learn, I don't mind teaching it! Just let me know and I will try to adapt to any situation.
