Face to face or online, you are judged by the words you speak or write. Therefore, intelligent people try to present themselves in the best light possible. Please join me for personal or online coaching to develop your skills. Let my education from Stanford and the University of Missouri help work for you.
Whether you simply want some coaching on a specific point or a program of development that takes you to the next level, I want to help you. Make your point clearly and concisely, without risking the misunderstanding that garbled language creates.
My rate is low because I love to teach and honestly don't need much money. Also, I want to make learning available to more people, not just the affluent. Let me be your guide either by email or in person. My previous success in teaching suggests that I can help you succeed as well.
In the first meeting, I usually introduce myself and give a little background to become acquainted. Then the student usually tells their story, especially their previous experience with English. After some conversation, I ask the students what has motivated them to seek a tutor. Then, specifically what goals does the student have? How much time can they study and practice? Everybody these days has a lot of responsibilities; so many students have little or no time to practice.
Another question is how long you want to study: Just a few lessons, 3 months, 1 year, etc.? Finally, I am not the best tutor for all people, so students need to decide for themselves.
Usually we need less than an hour for this, and can actually work on some English at the first meeting. If students want homework and have time, I assign and review their work. Each person is different. I serve as a consultant to you, to help you make your own learning plan and to provide expert knowledge of English. As a tutor, I am more like a coach than an instructor.
