Hello! My name is Heather and I have been dancing for over 20 years. I have been classically trained in ballet, jazz and modern dance.

I have been teaching children for 10 years now. I started as an acting coach assistant, then moved onto teaching dance classes at a dance studio in Burbank. I still teach there currently with my own company.

I was also a Gymboree Play & Music teacher for 2 years and I currently teach at La La Land Playground as a mommy and me teacher and a pre-k teacher.

Starting next week I will be working back at Concordia Elementary School as the after school dance teacher.

I've also spent a good portion of my life as a nanny to several different families.

As you can see, I've had extensive experience in both dancing and working with children. I also have a son of my own.

Vocabulary

I have always been good at vocabulary. I can help anyone improve their vocabulary. I know how to help them learn different tricks to knowing what different words mean. I specialize in teaching children ages 2yrs-14yrs old.

Reading

I have a 4, almost 5 year old son who is in kindergarten. I help him with his reading everyday. I also help teach my preschool kids how to read every class. I am patient and know how to help kids sound out words and little tricks to help get them reading. My son LOVES to read and so do my students. I am confident I can help your little one learn to read and learn to like reading.

Theatre

I have been an actor for 15 years performing in several plays, musicals, film and television. I was also a casting directors assistant for 5 years. I was also that same casting director's assistant for her acting classes. I've produced dance shows and theatre shows.

Ballet

I've been dancing for over 20 years. I'm classically trained in ballet, jazz and modern dance. I currently have my own dance company for kids and teens. I have choreographed for LA Pierce College. I've studied at LA Pierce College, Glendale Community College, Classical Ballet School (currently), Generation Dance Studio, Performing Arts Studio, and Pacific Dance Studio. I have been on competition teams, performance teams, and company teams. Any questions please feel free to contact me.

Fitness

I have been into fitness for over 20 years, taking dance classes and now currently teaching dance classes to kids ages 2 to 14. My background is in ballet, jazz, and modern dancing. I have also taken fitness classes at LA Pierce College.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
