Taught Old and New Testament in the religion department at Xaverian High School in Brooklyn, New York.
I have worked as a career counselor at Dorcas Place Adult and Family Learning center. I administered the ASVAP as well as the Myers Briggs Type indicator to assess students aptitudes for certain professions. I reviewed results and guided students through career options to identify necessary education and training required for chosen professions.
I have worked as an admission counselor at Occidental College. I have a masters degree in education specializing in guidance counseling.
I taught Judeo-Christian Theology and World Religions at Xaverian High School. I have a Master's degree in Education from Providence College, a private Catholic institution of higher learning where religion and ethics feature prominently in the curriculum.
I minored in African American history, and the requirements were all in the sociology department.

As a teacher at Xaverian High School, I helped students incorporate their study skills with their learning styles. With individualized instruction I was able to tailor each students' educational program to meet their specific need. I always employ a strength based approach, building on their strengths and the using creative interventions for any deficiencies.
