My name is Aaron and my major interest in life revolves around all aspects of academia. Though I have only an associate's degree, I plan to pursue a B.A. in Philosophy (with a concentration in Logic and the Philosophy of Science) and a minor in Linguistics. My long-term goal is to obtain an M.A. and possibly a Ph.D. in Philosophy in order to teach at the university level. I enjoy literature, writing, and music. I have tutored as a supplemental philosophy instructor at Porterville College and have been a tutor for the college-preparatory AVID program at a local high school. I'm proud to say that my friends always turn to me for academic advice and know that I will always be reliable in keeping their best interests at the forefront. I will likewise strive to implement a teaching methodology that best serves each individual student. As American philosopher John Dewey wrote: "Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself."
