I'm a serial entrepreneur of sorts. Most of my career has been spent helping others to tell their story - whether it's a documentary film on humpback whales or a corporate identity film or web content, or strategic branding efforts ... the thing that tends to keep me in orbit is Story.

I'm intimately acquainted with risk - which means I lose almost as often as I win, I'm wrong on the same day that I'm right. What matters in the end tends to be measured in overall satisfactions as opposed to remembering only the greatest moments of all time ...

I've been writing, producing and directing films and videos for around 30 years. I've traveled to more than 20 countries with crews of all sizes and have done everything from camera work to producing and everything in between. My films have won awards and aired on national television ... but the thing that matters most is the journey along the way. If it's not enjoyable and filled with good planning, spontaneous problem solving and authenticity, you might want to try something a little less fulfilling. There are things they'll never teach you in film school that I'm happy to tell you.

As for post-production, I am steeped in FinalCut, Adobe Premiere and AfterEffects and Photoshop. I've mentored many interns and students and have a zeal for relationships. I'd welcome a conversation to get started.
