I enjoy helping students learn and have extensive experience as an educator. I have worked directly with students at all levels from kindergarten to college students. I also have experience directing student services at the university level. During the last three years I have tutored both elementary and high school students in a variety of subjects including English, especially writing, history, science, career development, etc. This tutoring experience has been with students who are home schooled as well as private tutoring.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have tutored students in all grade levels - kindergarten through college. This tutoring has included virtually all elementary school subjects. My students have showed great improvement as a result of the work we have done together. I am comfortable with tutoring elementary school subjects and enjoy helping my students achieve academic success.

Study Skills

I have tutored study skills to students at all grade levels. I believe study skills are very important to achieve academic success. Students must know how to organize their course material and manage their times. These are just some of the skills I teach my students.

ESL/ESOL

I have taught children and adults basic English and writing skills. I have tutored in private settings and with home schooled children. I enjoy teaching English and try to make learning fun for my students.
