My name is Dartis W. II. I am going to be a sophomore at Stanford University in the fall. I graduated from Detroit Country Day as a national merit scholar and last summer I started my own tutoring company and worked as a math tutor for 3 months before I left for California. I am mainly a math tutor, but I can also tutor AP physics and Standardized math. As far as math goes, I will tutor any subjects between 4th grade math and multi-variable Calculus. Throughout high school and afterward I have been an effective tutor who knows what current students are going through and can help them understand complicated concepts. If you decide to use my services, before we start any sessions we will set up goals for you or your student. I can either help you review material from a previous year or help you prepare for an upcoming year. If you want to have success in the classroom you must prepare in advance, and I can help you succeed. On campus I do not have a means of transportation other than my bike, so I am limited to only tutoring on campus.

Algebra 1

I have been tutor students in algebra 1 since last summer. I believe I can be a big help because I have more than 50 hours of experience working with algebra 1 and algebra 2 students. My extensive math knowledge will also allow me to show your student how algebra one can connect to real life problems and how it will be the basis of all of their math classes for the next 5 years.

Algebra 2

I have tutored students in algebra 1 & 2 while I was in high school and last summer as well. I have an extensive math background and have taken higher level math classes at Stanford which needed a thorough understanding of concepts from algebra 2. I have taken AP Physics in high school and excelled at the subject. I have also taken Mechanics and electromagnetism classes from one of the most brilliant physics minds today at Stanford. When I was in high school I often tutored my fellow classmates and students taking basic physics. I have taken a total of 3 years of physics and I can help!
