I have over 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of high school and undergraduate mathematics. I completed my B.S. in mathematics at Davidson College and my Ph.D. in mathematics at Stanford University in 2007, and am currently an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, CA. I especially enjoy working with students on calculus (including AP Calculus AB and BC), linear algebra, differential equations, pre-calculus, trigonometry, algebra, geometry, and SAT mathematics.
Previously, I have worked as the Division Head of Mathematics for the Stanford University Online High School, a fully accredited, diploma-granting independent high school situated at Stanford University, and as the Head Mathematics Instructor at FLEX College Prep, a college preparatory academy in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have also been an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Kenyon College, and a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Stanford University.
I believe that mathematics is exciting and beautiful, and I look forward to sharing the joys of mathematics with you!
