My daughter was a bit hesitant about having a tutor. I insisted that with the right tutor, she would understand her AP Chemistry class and wouldn't need to drop. After the first meeting, my daughter said to me, "I understand everything I didn't understand before, thanks mom". The next quiz, she had a perfect score. Ogonna conveys the subject matter in a way that is conducive for learning and mastery. She invest herself in her student. She is accommodating, reachable, flexible, accessible and professional. She teaches with her heart and genuinely wants the student to not give up and unknowingly, the student is empowered and reaches new heights. Ogonna doesn't give up. She strives for your child's success. What she has done for my daughter is priceless.
My daughter had a tough time in her AP Chemistry class. We had a tutor who worked with her for three months but no improvement in her grade at all. When we were about to give up this course, we found Ogonna. Ogonna is simply a wonderful human being. She is very knowledgeable in this subject and skillful in her communication. She not only instantly brought up my daughter's test grade from B to an A-, but inspired her to love this subject. She is very loving, very kind, very encouraging, very inspiring. I just wish we didn't waste all that time working with a wrong tutor for three months. Ogonna is definitely a 5-star tutor.
Can't say enough good things about Ogonna. She is particularly gifted at explaining and presenting tough concepts clearly and makes them easy to understand. Very dedicated and is available after tutoring sessions for questions/clarifications. It is clear that she knows the material well and is passionate about helping her students. Truly an inspiring tutor.
Ogonna is an incredible tutor. You can tell that she loves what she does and she has a knack for making even the toughest Chemistry concepts easy to understand and commit to memory. I was lost on day 1 of my Organic Chemistry I class, and she caught me up to speed and then some in just one lesson. Ogonna has a very pleasant personality, and I truly enjoyed my session with her! I highly recommend Ogonna without reservation!
Ogonna is by far, one of the best tutors my student has ever had. Her approach to presenting concepts as well as details of Organic Chemistry have been well beyond our expectations. Our student is not very trusting of strangers and was leery about someone jumping in and clarifying all her questions, but Ogonna did just that with confidence and kindness. She is a person who truly loves tutoring. We look forward to working with her during the next term.
It is very hard to find a Tutor for my daughter. She resists a Tutor anyway, because she is not comfortable around a lot of people. Ogonna is the perfect Tutor for her. She is patient, knowledgeable with a great work ethic and pushes just enough to really take advantage of the full time. My daughter really struggles in chemistry and was able to bring her grade up a full grade having Ogonna as her Tutor.
Ogonna makes sure that you understand everything through and through. She is creative in her methods and inspiring in her style. My sister, who is normally reserved, brightened up during their session together. With Ogonna you can be sure that you will be receiving high quality tutoring. Thank you!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
