My experience as a tutor includes tutoring incoming freshman in English during my sophomore year in high school, ESL students during my junior year in high school, Algebra I & II students during my senior year in high school, and an elementary student with language barriers during my freshman year in college. I have also tutored College students with basic math problems.
I took a learning course from the psychology department from my former school. I learned about memorization skills and applications of knowledge.
I took part in the Academic Decathlon at my former high school which taught me numerous skills for studying. I had my AP and regular classes plus eight more subjects I had to study after school for a state competition. I have myself sought tutoring and learned from my former tutors as well. I am passionate about learning and making sure each person learns in any way whatever material is needed.
