I am a dedicated tutor and enjoy tutoring students of all ages. I guarantee that I will put in the extra effort to help make sure you or your child succeed!

I directed my own research as a scientist at NASA Ames for two years and am now a part-time professor of physics at Cal State University, East Bay. I have a Ph.D. in astronautical engineering from the University of Southern California and spent many years there as a university teaching assistant. In addition, I have over seven years of tutoring experience and was also a math instructor for TRIO'S Upward Bound Program, a program dedicated to helping underprivileged high school students pass the California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE).

I believe that sometimes succeeding in a course is not just about a student's particular knowledge of a subject, but rather their study skills and approach to problem solving. I always strive to emphasize both stronger study skills and a methodical approach. I am a firm believer in providing feedback and progress reports for my students and feel that any student with a positive attitude and a willingness to work hard can improve in their courses, no matter how challenging.

I offer a free 1/2 hour trial lesson and my rates are as as low as $60/hr. Lastly, I enjoy working with children and am also available to help with science-related projects.
