Hello parents and students,
I am a professional, experienced tutor.
I provide 1-on-1 instruction in all levels of math, such as Algebra I and II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, and Calculus, as well as tutor for test preparation (SAT and SAT2).
You will get the benefit of my 25 years of experience as a California credentialed teacher of Mathematics in High Schools, trainer for gifted children program.
My students have been accepted by Stanford, Hartford, UC Berkeley and other excellent universities.
When I tutor you, you will get proven results and good understanding of subjects. I am very effective in helping students become comfortable with and understand Math, and I do it in a way that is supportive, positive, and also fun. I explain difficult Math concepts in simple English, and I support the student until he/she understands the concept well. My expertise is especially strong in problem solving and applying concepts to real world situations. You will learn how to analyze the materials and approach them from the big picture narrowing down to the specific targets. Upon extensive training, you will be able to pass the tests and meet the expectation of the test makers.
All my students enjoy improvements in their grades and reduction in their overall stress level.
I have a Master degree of science in Mathematics and have studied Computer science classes at Berkley University. I am currently working as a private tutor in Sylvan and Buckley Education tutoring firms.
The best part about tutoring is working with students one-on-one and knowing that I played a part in their academic success. I have done it with thousands of students, and many of them provide excellent references and referrals for me.
I love tutoring and my students look forward to our tutoring sessions.
Get in touch with me – I will be happy to help you achieve your goals.
Please note that I require a cancellation notice of 24 hours for all lessons. If you fail to cancel at least 12 hours prior to the lesson, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 1/2 hour.
