My name is Curt B. I am currently employed by a tutoring company as an elementary-level English tutor for LAUSD students as part of the “No Child Left Behind” program. I hold a BA from the University of Iowa in Philosophy, so my area of specialty is in semantics and language. I focus mainly on building a student’s vocabulary by exposing them to often-used words, phrases, and idioms and on their mastering the language mechanics concepts appropriate to their grade level. I am also comfortable tutoring in all other subjects up to grade six. I am reliable, caring, honest, and hardworking. I look forward to an opportunity to work with you.
