I am a graduate from Sarah Lawrence College in Writing and Literature. I have a very unique approach to tutoring, which is based on helping the student excel in all levels. There is a wonderful quote from the Nobel-Prize-winning Jose Saramago, which states "No two human stories are ever the same." For this reason, I believe each student requires a different approach than another student. I think it is important to serve as a positive role model to the student. We work together in a collaborative fashion in such a way that the student can make decisions for himself and help discover the tools to academic success and personal growth. I have extensive experience in tutoring and teaching throughout the Los Angeles area. I have worked at many of the top private schools in the area, and also have experience working with students who have learning disabilities and behavior challenges, such as dyslexia, autism, add, and Aspergers syndrome.
