My name is Gail and I have been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1998 and have recently earned my credential as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor for 2011 and 2012.
I have past teaching experience in Accounting as a teaching assistant from Sonoma State University in Sonoma County, CA. I am available for tutoring in Bookkeeping through all levels of Accounting including beginning, intermediate, advanced, financial, managerial and cost accounting.
I will draw on my Accounting experience while covering topics or instructing in QuickBooks. It is important to understand the Accounting concepts and theory in relation to how the software works. Excel is a powerful tool in Accounting and QuickBooks and I can cover this as well.
My teaching methods are hands-on and are very much based on the exchange of thoughts and ideas. The only "silly" question is the one that goes not asked and answered. If I am unable to answer a question at the time I will unconditionally find out and provide the answer.
