Hi potential students,
I am really excited to help you to learn how to love to speak French
and appreciate the passionate culture of loving life and making the most out of what you know about other cultures that have permeated the French social fabric (Latin
culture from the Moors, the Germanic roots from the East, the Normans, the Vikings, and the Gauls from the North, etc...).
Yes, honestly, it may seem discouraging to learn a new, different and unfamiliar language
because of the difficulty to adjust, but I can assure you that it is not discouraging at all since you will see how it is exciting to be able to converse with a French person that brings new idioms and phrases which typically speak from the heart, and this is why it is so important to know a new foreign language
. There is a special connection through the process of learning French with an actual person (not only I as your teacher/helper but any future French friends whom you will encounter) that does not exist with recording tapes or other kinds of media devices.
I, myself, have gone through this process by learning eight different foreign languages, and will understand what my potential student has to go through. My goal of teaching is enjoyment of spontaneous speaking, rather than focusing on heavy grammar
and obsessing with grammatically correct speaking. However, when there is a need to understand how grammatical syntax plays an important role in conveying thoughts into words, I will definitely clarify the differences of those nuances.
I am also very conscientious in my teaching because I am proud to be French and want others to appreciate how beautiful French language is. It is a very passionate language which speaks from the heart and if you are a learner of French literature
, you have already experienced what I am talking about. Regarding French literature, I can help you because I majored in French Literature when I was in high school in Paris, France.
Thank you very much for reading
my profile, and I am looking forward to meeting you.
