My name is Kevin and I really enjoy working with students. I am a fully credentialed teacher and have been substitute teaching K-12 for about two years. Last year, I had a long-term substitute teaching job as an Impact Teacher at a school in the Santee School District. This entailed teaching seventh grade science and social studies as well as doing small-group instruction with fourth and fifth grade students. I found working with the smaller groups of students was very enjoyable, and thus I am looking to become a tutor. There is nothing like that "Aha" moment in a child's eyes when they grasp a particular concept or material. Also, I coach my children in soccer and enjoy working with them and seeing them learn as well.

I currently have a single subject credential in social science. I am also in the process of getting my multiple subject credential. I have taught a semester of tenth grade world history as well as eleventh grade U.S. history. Also, another subject that I have taught is seventh grade social studies. My experience includes the teaching experience as well as substitute teaching for three years in three school districts. This entailed anything from kindergarten all the way to twelfth grade.
