I am passionate about teaching students especially in the area of early literary. I am primarily looking to tutor early elementary students who are struggling with reading and writing. I have 20+ years experience as a special ed. teacher. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education and I have a master's degree in special education. I have a gentle, easy approach with students and rarely find a student I can't connect with. My approach is to take the student from where they are and begin to build successes by modifying my approach as needed for each individual student. I can work with students in my home, your home or an agreed upon place such as a library.
I look forward to working with your child to help build their skills and motivate them about learning.
