I am a retired RN with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Nursing, graduate work in Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Health Services Administration. I also have a TESOL certificate for teaching English as a Second Language. I am fluent in Spanish and Russian. I taught English in Russia for 4 terms. Algebra 1

I have 4 years' teaching experience in Russia. I am competent to get you through first year Algebra. I had to struggle to get through math myself, so I know where the pitfalls are. I have two Bachelors degrees - in Chemistry and Nursing - so I also know how to surmount those pitfalls as well.

American History

I have an interest in American History - particularly the Revolutionary War, Reconstruction, and the American Labor movement.

Biology

I am interested in all fields of life science, particularly Biology.

Chemistry

I have a B.A. (chem) from Stanislaus State. I can explain stoichiometry, atomic structure, inorganic and organic chemistry and most topics in chemistry. I also have 4 semesters of graduate work in Chemistry before I decided to go into Nursing instead.

I have a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Stanislaus State. I have an additional 30 semesters of graduate work in Chemistry from Fresno State and two years experience as a teaching assistant. My principal strengths are in nomenclature; aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic compounds; and functional groups. I am also conversant with organic synthesis and types of organic reactions.

Pharmacology

I have a Bachelors in Nursing and 40 years of clinical nursing experience which has required an extensive working knowledge of Pharmacology.

Classics

I have two bachelors degrees and have had a keen interest in the history of the classical era throughout my life. I am particularly interested in republican Rome and Hellenic subjects.
