I have taught in schools all over Sonoma County, K-12. In particular I like to help with math and science but also can help with reading, writing and most other subjects. Before becomming an educator I worked in the electronics industry (19 years). I used math, science, and communication everyday. My approach is to help with the meaning in a practical way. This approach I think is more helpful then just memorizing operations and facts. If you do not "get it" immediately I will try numerous ways of explaining the idea. I will work with you until you are comfortable with the subject.

My algebra skills are very good. I just completed a refresher course in advanced/pre-calculus algebra for the purpose of keeping my algebra skills up to date and fresh.

Algebra 2

My algebra skills are very good. I recently took a refresher course in Advanced Pre-Calculus Algebra (Math 25) at Santa Rosa Junior College. I have teaching credentials earned at Sonoma State University and experience in classrooms all over Sonoma County. I will be happy to help you with your tutoring needs.

Elementary (K-6th)

I taught 6th grade in Vallejo, California. I have extensive experience substitute teaching for 10+ years in all grades k-12. I have a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Earth Science Teaching Credential. Both are current and clear.

CBEST

I personally have passed the CBEST test in the process of obtaining my teaching credentials. I am very familiar with the test and the various subjects tested within this test.
