Hello. My name is Kim.
I spoke only Japanese until age five although I am a towheaded American. I still speak, read and write Japanese.
Tokyo was my hometown until I enrolled in the Theatre Arts program at UCLA. In Japan, I wrote for an English conversation magazine and was featured on an NHK series entitled A Step to English.
Here in America, I have worked for major Japanese corporations and have assisted CEOs and VPs by editing speeches and writing memos and other correspondence which were sent out worldwide in English. Also, my articles have been published in major American magazines. (I am happy to provide samples upon request.) I have also served as a translator on a few TV shows for stars like Seiko Matsuda and her entourage.
As Japan is near and dear to my heart and I am a writer, to serve as a cultural liaison of sorts, I have created a baking blog.
I look forward to assisting those who could use help with their English writing and speeches.
