Hello, my name is Matt. I graduated from Oregon State University in 2011 with a degree in Psychology. After graduation I traveled throughout South America and Costa Rica for nearly 7 months. Upon returning to the States I found myself in Santa Cruz and have been enjoying all that the area has to offer.

I think teaching and education are very important for the future of everyone. We lay the foundation for tomorrow everyday, whether we are in the classroom or not. As a student I always found myself bored in class, until I had a teacher in 7th grade that really got everyone excited about learning. This teacher had so much enthusiasm toward the subject being taught that nobody eagerly looked toward the clock hoping class would soon be over. My goal as a teacher and tutor is to bring that enthusiasm for learning to every student.

I have experience working with ADD/ADHD, word retrieval difficulties, dyslexia and developing structured study habits.
