I have a valid teaching credential in English & mathematics (grades 7-12) in California. In my early years, I taught English & math in grades 5-8 at Hillbrook School (private) in Los Gatos, California. And in my private tutoring business, I teach from 1st grade through adults.

ESL/ESOL

I was a ten-year, public school classroom teacher in English & math and taught many ESL students. Moreover, I taught night school ESL in adult education for two years and later was the Division Manager of, among other things, the ESL/ELA (English Language acquisition) Diploma Program for Santa Clara Unified School District. CBEST

I have degrees in English and mathematics and possess a valid Standard Secondary Teaching Credential in California. As such, I do a great deal of test preparation, such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, GED and CBEST.

ISEE

I have a valid California secondary teaching credential, with a major in English (honors) and minor in math. I taught Middle School for four years and Sr. High for six and have tutored extensively in pre/algebra and language arts for more than a decade. Additionally, as an English/math teacher, I frequently tutor in SAT, ACT, GRE and CBEST preparation.

In addition, I teach a 4 hour, weekend SAT English Prep course for a tutoring center in Cupertino.

I can help you with whatever Mac learning you need. I have been using Macs since 1988, ran my own training and development business from and with a Mac, and have taught scores of community classes, classroom teachers, small business owners/staff and others how to use the Mac for all kinds of purposes. This includes selecting and learning how to use hardware and software, organizing your world on the Mac, and being comfortable working on the internet via a wireless network, browsers and email.
