Need help preparing for the bar exam?
I have real-life experience in figuring out what it takes to conquer these tests. After receiving my LLB (common law) and BCL (civil law) degrees from McGill University in Montreal, I passed the Quebec Bar at the first try. Having two months off before starting my job, I headed down to Massachusetts and at the first attempt passed that bar too, even though this was my first exposure to American law. A couple of years later, I ended up in California, and so, once again, hit the books, and passed first time out. Success requires knowledge of the law AND test taking skills. I can help you acquire both.
As I am retired from the practice of law, except for a couple of pro bono cases, I have flexibility with respect to time. Tutoring sessions can occur either at your place or mine, or possibly the Santa Clara Law Library if a room is available.
If you are hitting a brick wall, panicking, or are just unsure on how to approach bar prep, give me a call.
