Both personally and professionally I have worked with the program Adobe Illustrator since CS4 for about 4 years now. As a Multimedia major I have worked with many Adobe products but this one is by far my favorite to work with. The way vectors work on and off screen is phenomenal! I just get so excited even talking about it.
The 1st time I have used an Apple computer was when I was a child in elementary school, and ever since then I have fallen in love with Macintosh software. After using Microsoft's operating system, Windows, for almost 17 years, I decided to switch to Mac OS about a year ago. Being a Multimedia artist/designer, I made it possible for myself to know and understand both operating systems very well. I am constantly teaching people how to use their MacBook or iMac. Normally when some of my classmates don't know what a shortcut feature is on the iMacs that are in class, I am the go-to guy.
I have had experience with Windows operating system for over 18 years now. Ever since I was a child, I have always used a Microsoft running computer. As updates for new operating systems came out, I started to have favorites of the growing updates, starting with Windows XP and probably ending with Windows 7. I teach people new things very often when it comes to their Windows operating system, and I feel as if people can benefit from my teachings to possibly pass them along to someone else.
As a Multimedia major at California State University - East Bay, I have taken classes that have taught me techniques with shooting for both the moment and scenic views. I personally use a Canon T2i Rebel series, but have had some experience in shooting with Nikons, Sonys, and Kodaks. I have taught and helped multiple individuals how to use their cameras with my techniques that I have learned over the years without spending a lot of money on buying new lenses or DSLRs. My main goal is to have people more comfortable in using manual settings ratherr than automatic settings, because you can do a lot more without the automating your settings.
