Hi everyone!

I thought about giving tutoring a shot since I get a lot of questions when it comes to my work via Instagram and my personal website. I'll start off with a brief description about myself, I am a senior at California State University, East Bay studying multimedia with an option of graphic design. I am from San Francisco, CA. I have had multiple opportunities within my field of work, gaining experience in pretty much any situation I put myself in. Which can either be personal or professional. My specialty or favorite programs to work with is Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Flash, and InDesign. I also I have a passion for photography and gaming!

My operating system of choice is Mac OS, but I am very well off on Windows operating system so if anyone is planning on transitioning or has a slight learning curve I can help with that as well. I love teaching people new things especially things that I find of interest, whether that be of video games, designing, technology, or even sketching. I have an insane passion of making learning situations for both parties (including myself) possible. Meaning if there is something that I don't know or understand, we can totally learn it together! Since I have a passion for photography, I can definitely teach certain things about that as well. From lighting techniques to framing shots.

On a side note, I can even teach some people certain things about eCommerce if they are interested in it. Although math techniques are very important, there isn't too much of that with my teachings of the computer arts. Everyone is different, and I am willing to help as many people as I can who are interested in the computer arts or who wants to learn new techniques. I assign projects that are minor but can help in aesthetics of the arts. Can't wait to get started in teaching you guys some awesome things!

Hope to hear from you guys soon! And thank you for having an interest me!

Adobe Illustrator

Both personally and professionally I have worked with the program Adobe Illustrator since CS4 for about 4 years now. As a Multimedia major I have worked with many Adobe products but this one is by far my favorite to work with. The way vectors work on and off screen is phenomenal! I just get so excited even talking about it.

The 1st time I have used an Apple computer was when I was a child in elementary school, and ever since then I have fallen in love with Macintosh software. After using Microsoft's operating system, Windows, for almost 17 years, I decided to switch to Mac OS about a year ago. Being a Multimedia artist/designer, I made it possible for myself to know and understand both operating systems very well. I am constantly teaching people how to use their MacBook or iMac. Normally when some of my classmates don't know what a shortcut feature is on the iMacs that are in class, I am the go-to guy.

Microsoft Windows

I have had experience with Windows operating system for over 18 years now. Ever since I was a child, I have always used a Microsoft running computer. As updates for new operating systems came out, I started to have favorites of the growing updates, starting with Windows XP and probably ending with Windows 7. I teach people new things very often when it comes to their Windows operating system, and I feel as if people can benefit from my teachings to possibly pass them along to someone else.

As a Multimedia major at California State University - East Bay, I have taken classes that have taught me techniques with shooting for both the moment and scenic views. I personally use a Canon T2i Rebel series, but have had some experience in shooting with Nikons, Sonys, and Kodaks. I have taught and helped multiple individuals how to use their cameras with my techniques that I have learned over the years without spending a lot of money on buying new lenses or DSLRs. My main goal is to have people more comfortable in using manual settings ratherr than automatic settings, because you can do a lot more without the automating your settings.
