Hello!

Do you need a patient, dedicated tutor to help you with a subject you just can't wrap your head around? Or, do you simply need a few hours of tutoring before a big test? I believe I can help!

I recently graduated from Occidental College with a degree in history (magna cum laude, honors, and distinction). In my senior year, I was accepted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society, an academic honors society (only the top 10% of American universities have chapters, and only the top 10% of their students are eligible).

I have over five years of tutoring experience in math (pre-algebra, algebra, geometry); language arts (reading comprehension; creative and analytical writing; grammar and vocabulary); test prep (I'll help you slay those scary pre-college tests!) and history. My work experience also extends to classroom settings: I taught English for a year in a Korean elementary school, and I am a certified substitute teacher in California. I have a diverse work history, so I feel comfortable with students of all ages, abilities, and learning-styles.

I look forward to hearing from you!
