Hi! My name is Elissa. I'm a master's student and a teaching assistant at SDSU. I love teaching and seeing my students succeed. In my undergraduate years, I was both a Spanish tutor in the United States and an English tutor when abroad in Spain. More recently, as a master's student, I have helped undergraduate students in coursework such as statistics, research methods, and other psychology courses. In addition, I recently took the GRE and received a high score. Having recently taken the GRE, I would be well prepared to help with other standardized tests as the material is very similar (i.e. SAT).

In addition to helping with school subjects, I am well equipped to help adults with using software programs such as Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and statistical programs (SPSS).

I want my students to get the most out of my services. When I get a new student, I would like to detail progress after every meeting and evaluate how specific methods are working for the individual student. I have a variety of tools that I have found helpful in receiving very high grades, even when the coursework is out of my comfort zone. I look forward to work with you and tailoring a plan that enables you to succeed.
