Bible Studies

As a Bible teacher for 47 years I have 116 lessons that teach Bible accounts from the creation to the flood of Noah's day; the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt to the birth of Jesus; the death of Jesus to his resurrection. The information in these lessons is designed to teach the Bible accounts in clear, easy to understand language that will enrich the life of the student rather than define their religious beliefs.

I also teach a series, detailing 133 lessons from Jesus birth, his early life, his ministry and final days, and his impact on the world.

These courses of study are designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of the Bible or the accounts of Jesus life respectively.

ESL/ESOL

I have spent over 25 years in the teaching field and I am certified as a teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

Making learning fun and easy is important in learning a language so I use over 40 different methods to accomplish this.

IELTS

I currently tutor individuals preparing for the IELTS exam and have found specific ways to teach that are most beneficial. All 4 areas need to be addressed, however, generally my students need the most help on the writing and speaking portions. Identifying the areas a student needs the most work in is critical. I conduct multiple practice sessions with the student to help them become familiar with, and most importantly, comfortable with the format of the exam.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
