I am eager to work as a tutor because I enjoy working with students, and I have great communication skills. Most importantly, I love to teach, and I will be honored to have the opportunity to provide others with knowledge. I am a native from Spain with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education and Exercise Science
, and I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching. In addition, I have a Masters of Arts in Sports Management, which I received in the United States. I plan to use all of my resources to help students succeed. I am anxious to work as a tutor during the 2013-2014 academic year.
I have been working for three semesters as a Spanish
tutor at the Lindenwood University Foreign Language
Center. As a tutor, my main goal was to help students improve their language
skills and to provide them with assistance in the completion of their class activities. Also, I worked as an assistant professor of the Spanish department. My main duty was to assist Spanish professors with daily tasks and responsibilities, including teaching and grading. Some of my duties were to show students how to:
- Revise a rough draft
- Find grammatical errors
- Identify grammatical rules that helped them improve their language skills
- Edit spelling
- Memorize vocabulary
- Memorize and learn verb conjugations
Now, I feel that I have to continue working as a Spanish tutor so others can benefit from my expertise. Most importantly, I am able to offer students more because I am passionate about teaching, and I enjoy inspiring people. Every day I will bring my positive energy, motivation, creativity, and enthusiasm to the students. I am confident that my international and educational background, along with my bilingual abilities will contribute to the students success.
