Hi, my name is Anthony and I am looking to help tutor anyone needing help in high school math subjects. These courses can range from Algebra to Calculus or anywhere in between. I understand not every teacher relays information in a way that makes sense and internet guides sometimes are hard to find or they skip a lot of steps making the problem confusing. I teach one way that clicks, you can follow along, and gives you the chance to do it. I enforce formulas and equations to relevant material that you will need later on and will help you pass your courses with ease. I don't get stressed out and can comply with many regulations.
I am currently in college and am close to finishing the last of my Calculus courses. These courses require mastery of algebra and trigonometry which is why I feel tutoring those subjects would be a great fit. I have tutored two students before (pre-algebra and algebra) and they loved the way I taught and ended up doing much better in their courses. My friends in my Calculus courses sometimes struggle with the basic concepts of High school math and they feel I am a big help in their homework.
I understand some teachers are not very good at what they do which is why I am pursuing to be a teacher to help students who struggled with what I went through as well. I know what works best for students and feel I can one of the best tutors you will ever meet.
I am a math major at San Diego State University and have finished all the GE requirements as far as math is concerned. I currently tutor at a high school in Algebra 1 and 2. I have been immersed in the material specific to Algebra for quite a while now.
Like Algebra 1, in order to pass the Calculus courses I am taking, mastery of the subject is needed. In high school and college I have displayed a high level knowledge of the subject as well as using its skills in my courses at the moment. I have not yet tutored algebra 2, but I did tutor a student whose algebra 1 course included a lot of material in algebra 2. I believe I am qualified as friends and students agree my teaching methods are easier to understand than their teacher's methods.

I have finished all my Calculus classes and know what students struggle with the most with an emphasis on the fundamentals (e.g. derivatives and Concept Theory).
I have tutored pre-algebra before and it really is second nature for me. I teach in a easy to understand way that students will love. My credentials have shown I have mastered the subject and am qualified to teach it. One of my students actually told me they like the way I taught rather than the way their teacher taught.

Occasionaly I help the Pre-Calculus students (which is where trigonometry is used) and tutored a Pre-Calculus class earlier this year. Trigonometry is very easy for me and I feel I can make it easy for everyone else.
