Many students never received a proper background in phonics. Students need to learn the difference between words and their meanings. They need to understand the basis of the English Language so that they can understand and learn their other academic subjects. Phonics can be integrated into writing, spelling and reading in a natural learning progression. Learner's benefit in spelling, reading and comprehension. I am trained in Read Naturally, and many other reading/phonics programs.
