I enjoy designing and the Adobe line of graphical design software is one of my favorites. I have lots of practice in:
—Production Digital Artist: Image Acquisition (photography and illustration)
—Fine tuning product photography, Photo retouching (manipulating, color correcting, resizing and optimizing).
— Interface design
—Archiving and backing up image files. Converting image files.
General computer knowledge can be a very broad area to cover. I like computers and I am good at them. If I need to do something I know where to get the information and I can usually figure out how to do it. I am patient and careful when working with computer. Here I am going to list off the top of my head some of the things I have experience with:
Proficient with most types of PC and Macintosh Hardware
Networking and Troubleshooting experience
Extensive Software Knowledge
Troubleshoot and used MS Office Suites from 97-2003, MS Operating Systems from Windows 3.11 to 2003 Server Edition, Setup of Pocket PCs and Palm Pilots
Designed and maintained websites including registering domains and point name servers to web space
Configured and maintained all versions of Windows desktops from 3.1 to XP.
Diagnosed errors, removed viruses, cleaned up ad ware and spy ware, done in place upgrades of XP and restored the User’s data
Installing a Windows Desktop Operating System
Managing and Troubleshooting Access to Resources
Configuring and Troubleshooting Hardware Devices and Drivers
Configuring and Troubleshooting the Desktop and User Environments
Troubleshooting Network Protocols and Services

As a research associate in the University of California San diego I perform basic and advanced statistical analysis on complex data sets. This includes mostly data where multiple variables are present. One of the programs I use the most is SPSS. I am very familiar with simple and advanced aspect of the programs. My knowledge includes, but is not limited to, data management, exploratory data analysis and statistics. Includes ANOVA, cluster, regressions, correlation, tables, factor, multi-dimensional scaling, non-parametric, regression, t-tests and mixed models.
As a research associate in the University of California I have acquired practical experience is basic and advanced statistics. My skills include, but are not limited to:
• Statistical Process Control (Control Charts, Gauge R-R Analysis, Sampling and Sub-grouping
• Design of Experiment (Factorial Design, Block Design, Response Surface Methodology, Split-
plot Design, Robust Design, Mixture Design, Mixed Models)
• Time Series Data Analysis (Time Series Regression, Exponential Smoothing, Decomposition,
ARIMA, Dynamic Regression and Intervention Models)
• Multivariate Data Analysis (Principle Component Analysis, Factor Analysis, Multivariate
Regression, Clustering Analysis, Discriminate Analysis, MANOVA, Permutation and
• Regression Analysis (Simple and Multiple regression)
• Categorical Data Analysis (Generalized Linear Models, Poisson Regression, Logistic Regression)
• Data Mining (CART, Tree, Predictive Models)
• Lifetime Data Analysis (Bayesian Method, Failure Time Regression Model, Acceleration Test
• Specialized ecology software (PRIMER, CANOCO)

My approach for teaching and advising on website creation focuses more on the objective of the site rather than spending too much time creating a website that is full of flashy graphics and videos but lacks traffic and functionality. The internet is becoming the main source of information on the world and when most people go to the internet they are looking for information and value.
Website design can be approached in many different ways depending on your goals and what purpose your website will serve. But all websites share common building blocks and that's what I will be teaching you.
I will advise you on the basic tools that I use to create basic websites and some more complex ones like those for e-commerce. How to find a good domain name and properly register it so that it belongs to you and reflects the goal of your website. Finding a host for your website is also important since that's where your website will be accessible to the world. Using C-panel and FTP to tranfers files and updates to your website. Planning your website and the main components to make it compliant to todays Web standards. How to design your website so that is appealing to the eyes of the visitor without comprimising speed and functionality. Using CMS (content management system) to manage content and information updates on your site. Basic typography, image editing, designs and style sheets that fit the purpose of your website. Using blog systems like Joomla and Wordpress to create sites that can be updated by the internet community. You will also learn HTML, Adobe Dreamweaver, CSS , AJAX, PHP, Adobe Fireworks and Flash, Page layouts using tables and working with expanded and nested tables. How to promote your site on the web and generate traffic using links, social media and information exchange. If you are interested in creating a money making website I will teach you different strategies to monetize the traffic on your site.
Web design is at the front of how information will be accessible on the future, don't wait and become part of this now!
I love nature and animals. I have a scientific interest in living organisms and their environment. Zoology is the study of all animals, ranging from single-celled animals (protozoans) to birds and mammals (vertebrates). I am knowledgeable in major animal groups such as invertebrates, fish, birds, and mammals, as well as physiology, ecology, behavior, aquatic biology, and evolution. I can help with theoretical aspects of zoology as well as practical like using different types of microscopes, dissecting, studying animals in their habitat which is a lot of fun!
