As an educator, I have a passion to learn new subjects and topics that enhances my creativity. As a writer, I have passion for creating story, whether it is a short story, a novel or a screenplay, or an essay that conveys complex logic and concise pattern.

Grammar

My background is English and writing. I have an MFA degree in creative writing. I also have extensive experience writing research papers, thesis, and essays from my previous master degree in Theology. Currently I write lesson plans for high school and middle school remedial English. I also have tutoring experience in public after school programs for middle and high schools in the surrounding counties.

Reading

I taught English in high school and remedial reading to middle school students. I also have an MFA in Creative Writing. Additionally, I tutored after school middle school students with reading and writing issues. I focus on students that are developing their critical reading and writing skills up through college and graduate level.

Writing

I taught English to middle school and high school students as well as remedial reading, writing, and grammar. Additionally, I tutored during school and after school hours to students who struggle with writing, grammar, spelling, and reading. I also tutored ESL students that struggled with grammar, reading, and writing. I focus on expository and critical writing skills for students that are beginning through college.

English

I taught English to high school and middle school students and I provided tutoring help during and after school. Students with remedial reading, writing and grammar were held on campus. Tutoring after school was two or more hours with several students. I focus on students who are developing their writing, reading, skills such as expository and critical writing up through college and graduate level.

Religion

I have an MA in Theology: Culture and Spirituality. I also have a BA in Religious studies to include World Religious and the many minor subject religions of the world.

Business

I have business experience and I am currently studying for my MBA from North Central University. I am a producer and a writer and I have extensive experience developing marketing plans, business plans, and strategic management.

CBEST

I have passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test. I can offer tutoring services in math, which was my high score as well as reading and writing sections of the exam. In addition, I have taught and tutored CBEST during my teaching tenure to help potential teachers pass their test.
