My name is Ollie and I am currently a senior in high school. Next fall I will be studying at Saint Mary's College of California and could not be more excited! I have tutored kids from ages 5 to 18 in every subject including some at the college level. Pretty much any subject that you'll need help in, I'm sure I could help. My strongest subject is Spanish. I learned Spanish at the same time as I learned English, so I'd love to tutor in that as well.
I find I have a very simple approach as to how I teach which really helps students grasp more complicated subjects and topics. School never came easy to me, so I would have to break things down into steps and think of problems more simplistically in order for me to understand them. I think that's how many other kids are as well, which is why I think I'm so successful with the kids I tutor. Current high school students I work with have raised their GPA from 2.5 to 3.8! once you get something to click, and you just really understand it, there is nothing else to worry about. I am very personable and easy to get along with. I would love the opportunity to help students in any way that I can and enable them to succeed!
