I received my B.A. in International Studies from American University in Washington, DC., and an M.A. in Communication from the University of Arizona. Recently, I scored in the 99th percentile in the Verbal section of the GMAT -- a test that measures reading comprehension, knowledge of sentence structure and grammar, and, most importantly, critical thinking.
With twenty years of professional work history (much of it spent in communication-oriented roles), I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to students who who want to improve their skills in two important areas.
First, I hone critical thinking skills that are important to success on standardized tests and in an array of subjects.
Second, I help students write more effectively. Clear and concise writing is necessary in many subjects, most standardized tests, and all application essays!
Whether you are prepping for the GMAT and need help bringing up your Verbal score, or you'd like to become a better writer and a faster and more effective critical thinker, I can help.
