I am a native Chinese speaker. I was born and grew up in China, lived in Singapore for ten years, and have been living in the U.S. for eight years. My major in China was International Trade and I have an A.A. degree in Psychology from Cabrillo College. I still remember how hard it was for me to communicate with people here when I first arrived, and how much fun it is when people told me that my English is getting better. It's such a fun thing for me to learn different languages and cultures.
Many of my American friends tell me Chinese is so hard. Don't worry, many of my Chinese friends in China say the same thing. I come from a three thousand year old tradition of reciting that practice makes perfect! I'm looking forward to meeting you and having fun together learning Mandarin.
