My pedagogy is based on a human beings natural curiosity. Until about three years of age, we are naturally curious beings, exploring our world through our senses. I engage those senses again, working through any blocks that may have developed through socialization or traumatic experiences. I do this using art media, engaging my students where they are developmentally, and allowing integration of both sides of the brain.
Bilateral thinking allows for emotional intelligence to influence rational intelligence, creating a unique holistic expression. By practicing these art interventions, one can learn to express themselves in any area of study, putting forward a true and authentic response to the challenges, as they present themselves.
