I am working on my PhD in Classics from the University of Pittsburgh, while living in the Bay Area. I have received my Master's in Classics from UPitt and graduated cum laude from Pomona College with a double major in Classics and Geology. I have taught college-level Latin, semesters 1-3 as a TA and TF in Pittsburgh, as well as courses in classical mythology and Roman civilization. I have been tutoring and teaching middle and high school students in Latin since January 2009. I really enjoy teaching and tutoring Latin. While I have not had the opportunity to teach ancient Greek, I have studied the language for eight years. I am willing to tutor either as a supplement to other classes or as a complete course.

I received an MA in Classics (which is Ancient Greek, Latin, and the related culture) from University of Pittsburgh in 1997, following a BA in Classical Languages and Literatures (Ancient Greek and Latin) from Pomona College in 1995.

I have studied Ancient Greek further in the PhD program at the University of Pittsburgh.
